If you’re looking for an immediate, straight forward method to get protected from bed bugs, then there is only one fool-proof option. And it’s easier than you think.
Anyone who discovers bed bugs in their sleeping quarters wants to find an instant, no-fuss way to get protected from bed bugs ASAP. You may think that professional pest controllers are your only option when you discover a bed bug infestation. Yet pest controllers use poisonous chemical solutions to kill bed bugs – and these solutions don’t provide instantaneous and long-lasting results.
The only way to safeguard against bed bugs immediately is to use barrier protection.
What is barrier protection? How to get protected from bed bugs
Barrier protection for getting rid of bed bugs means creating an impenetrable floor barrier to trap bed bugs before they can reach you in your bed. Bed Bug Killer powder is used to kill bed bugs that try to access the barriers.
You create a series of barriers, mostly around your bed and mattress, preventing bed bugs from contacting you and feeding on you.
There could be ten bed bugs or one hundred – it doesn’t matter. With barrier protection correctly applied, the bed bugs will not be able to get to you.
In the meantime, barriers offer permanent protection against bed bug bites – meaning you can say goodbye to those uncomfortable, itchy rashes.
Why barrier protection is so important
In addition to providing direct protection against bed bug bites, barrier protection is a key strategy for managing your bed bug infestation:
- Bed bugs are forced to walk over Bed Bug Killer powder, so they will quickly die out
- Barrier protection is a poison-free solution, so you don’t have to worry about toxic chemical exposure in your household and sleeping quarters
- Chemical treatments are only temporary, and they can be less effective if bed bugs migrate from other rooms after treatment
- If you try and kill bed bugs with other DIY methods, you ultimately only kill what you can see – and this is just a very small part of what is likely to be a much larger problem.
What’s the easiest way to create a bed bug barrier?
Inventing your own barrier solutions can be problematic and ineffective due to an incorrect application and poor materials.
Our Bed Bug Barriers uses a non-toxic plastic that creates an impassable floor barrier to trap bed bugs before they can reach sleeping victims. The Screw-In and Floor Barriers can use Bed Bug Killer powder to kill bed bugs and the Barrier Tape which can be placed on larger bed legs or walls.
In most cases, our Bed Bug Killer powder is placed inside the barriers and below the tape. Not only does this system prevent bed bugs from reaching you, it also kills the bed bugs efficiently.

Harsh chemicals are only good to fight against bed bugs if your house is full of them, you also need barrier protection to make sure you don’t get them. Your system seems to be well thought out and from what I see; people are getting actual results, not only temporary ones like those you get if you use “specialized help”.

Do you know if this system is safe to use with a toddler that is constantly checking all the corners and putting everything he sees in his mouth? I’m a bit afraid to use your Bed Bug Killer because it’s in powder form and I don’t know if it’s safe to ingest. Do you recommend I stick to the barrier tape and the mattress covers?
Tony Abrahams says
Hi Alexis. The Bed Bug Killer powder is poison free so it wont harm your child if swallowed. Its best if you use the whole system just to make sure you are safe from bed bugs.

After successfully using your Bed Bug Killer I wanted to make sure I got all the unsecured areas and bought the barrier tape. It’s unnoticeable and extra cheap. I use it at the base of my windows so the bed bugs can’t crawl up the wall and under my wallpaper. Thanks for your reliable customer service and excellent products.

I’m absolutely going to do this. I’d rather have a barrier in place now rather than do it after I have a problem. I love that this is a natural, non-toxic solution as well, I’d rather not turn my bedroom into a toxic war zone.

I’m with you, Alex! I chose to fight against bed bugs before having them because it’s way easier and less stressful this way. I use mattress encasements in all my bedrooms – make sure you use one for the base as well – and sprinkled Bed Bug Killer in all the rooms. You can sure as hell bet I won’t be having any infestation any time soon.

Purchasing a bed bug barrier with powder is an excellent solution. It’s looks effective and nearly foolproof. Great suggestion!
